A warm welcome to you.

We are a team of clergy within The Ecumenical Catholic Communities & The Church of Christ, incorporating the St Bernadette Bereavement Support Group (Herts/Essex, UK), The Society of St Agnes (UK and now USA), the Bethlehem Community (Liverpool, UK) with Ecumenical Links to the North East, The West Country and The Midlands in the UK and with our ever growing Franciscan Community and we have a sister Church in North America. If you are seeking a Christian understanding of humanity within a changing society you may well have just found a spiritual home.

As an Ecumenical (meaning embracing the world-wide Christian Church) Catholic Community we are about socially responsible love and inclusion; exactly as Christ intended it to be. We are deeply disillusioned with 'mainstream' church and their lack of understanding in terms of appropriately addressing the spiritual and emotional issues within our modern and changing society. The Church must acknowledge that Christianity can only extend beyond our current generations if they embrace 21st century needs and create a relevance between the modern world and ancient spirituality. We can no longer stand in church buildings waiting for people to come to God - we need to go out and take God to people. God is here for all of us - but how we access Him is highly subjective and intensely personal. We strive to serve our local and wider communities, being deeply driven to offer practical and loving Christian support for all groups and individuals. We especially want to reach out to all those who are hurt or broken by bereavement or who have had negative spiritual experiences and for those who feel marginalised or forgotton by the global Christian family.
