As a newly ordained priest some 8 years ago when I acted as curate during a baptism, a great clergy mentor of mine said this to me;

"In Baptism, God is adding to the Christian family to whom He is calling."

I have never forgotten these words and that is why I will never profit financially for being a channel for this calling of God. Rev Nicola

Holy Baptism is an outward sign of an inward faith. The significance of Baptism is not to automatically become a Christian but to offer the choice of taking the path of love and faith. Essentially it is to assert your commitment to God.

We will be honoured to help organise a ceremony for you or your children to become a part of the best family in the world, that being the Christian family!

I wrote these words five years ago for a baptism -

"To be asked to be a Godparent holds great responsibility, no longer in the traditional sense, but in a way whereby parents are saying they want certain people to be a part of not just their lives but also the lives of their children. This is about true friendship and faith."

People brought children to Jesus to touch. The disciples rebuked them… but when Jesus saw this He was indignant and said to them… let the children come to me… do not try to stop them… for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you, whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God as a child will never enter it. Jesus then put his arms around the children, laid His hands upon them and blessed them. Mark ch10:13
